Travelling together, one station at a time

Trellis Ministries and this Stations of the Cross project grew out of Christ Church Easton’s response to the pandemic. Fr. Barton was the designer and team leader of the Stations and Burden Cross project in 2021. Twenty people around the country helped assemble= the Stations, develop original artwork and write and record those first meditations.

The Stations of the Cross are now on the Trinity Cathedral, Easton campus for Lent 2024. They depict Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion. First used in Jerusalem in 1342., the Stations have evolved over the centuries…and that process continues. Trellis Ministries Lent 2024 includes new meditation and updated content.

This landing page is for those our online viewers who cannot come to our campus in Easton. Through this site you’ll see the same images those who walk our campus can see, have the opportunity to scan the same QR codes, read the scripture and hear the meditations.

We’ll conclude our Stations of the Cross event with a Zoom gathering all persons that engaged the 2024 stations on Wednesday, March 27th, 11AM EST . This will be an opportunity for us to hear from one another about our respective Lenten journeys.
